Hurricane is a city in Washington County, Utah. Hurricane is a suburban community located along Utah State Route 59 and Utah State Route 9.

Hurricane has excellent municipal services with its own departments of Justice Court, Police, Fire & Ambulance, Planning and Zoning, building, public works, recreation.

The most notable recreational area in Hurricane the Sky Mountain Golf Course, a municipal owned public 18-hole golf course with driving range and pro shop. It is one of the most scenic golf courses anywhere in the world. Additionally, its 6,312 yard par 72 is much more challenging than the yardage would indicate.

Hurricane Airport is known as General Dick Stout Field, a general aviation airport that offers scenic tours over Hurricane and surrounding areas such as Zion National Park.
